Busy last few weeks

We have been really busy these last few weeks and I just haven't had time to post. Our schedule was really thrown off on Jan. 6th and we are still recovering.....
We had a rough night getting Annie to go to bed. After 2hrs of crying (to the point of throwing up) George and I vowed to stay strong and not let her get her way--so when she climbed the safety fence and fell we just picked her up and put her right back in bed. She complained her arm hurt, but she was also complaining about everything. Finally she fell asleep. Unfortunately the next morning is when MY nightmare started. When I went in to wake her up, the first thing she said was "Mom, I have a really bad boo-boo and I need a really big band-aid". The big band-aid came in the form of a hot pink cast (her choice, as she put it "I LOVE pink"). She did great having the x-rays and getting the cast on AND she was very excited to show it off to her friends. Unfortunately she broke her left arm and she is left handed, so for the first week she was pretty frustrated not being able to eat and draw with it. But she adapted quickly. Unfortunately George and I felt so guilty about it we let her start sleeping in our bed again, which really is why we are still recovering...I don't think either of us has had a full night of sleep for over a month. ahhh life with a 2 yr old!
